Happy New Year

What a week?? We got Pawpaw picked up on Sunday evening, then Grandma dropped off on Monday morning. Gram left early Wednesday morning... then Pawpaw left unexpectedly on Thursday... 3 days early.... because on Wednesday afternoon he was diagnosed with the flu! Oh joy!! We've been monitoring everyone - Monday morning (tomorrow) will round out the incubation period - so we're not in the clear yet, but we're hopeful. 





As far as milestones the little tike has reached over the past few weeks:

1) Mastered sitting up. 
2) Mastered going from sitting up, don't to her stomach
3) She's trying really hard to figure out how this crawling business works. She can push herself up and she can get up on her knees, but she hasn't figured  out how to do those things simultaneously. 
4) She's started the head-jerk-back-straight-as-a-board thing, whatever that's about. It seems to have stubborn written all over it.
5) At one of our many doctor visits over the past couple of weeks, it is confirmed that there is a good bit of swelling in her gums - HOPEFULLY, one day, we'll have some teeth!

6) She's practicing really hard with her ma-ma and da-da's. Having a little difficulty with Ferg-Ferg and War Eagle:)

To sum up the past two weeks, it's been great being able to spend so much time with her (Miss Pat was on vacation, so Farmer and I each took a week off to hang with the munchkin), little lady is in desperate need of a schedule overhaul. She's so out of wack, Miss Pat really has her work cut out for her.
