Six months today, graduating tomorrow

We celebrated a whopping six months of life this week!! We can't believe how stinkin' fast the past six months have gone. We have some friends who have a one month old and seeing the two next to each other - it's hard to believe that just a few months ago, Nora was that same size. {sigh}

Unfortunately for the munchkin, a six month birthday also means a trip to see Dr. Leveridge. Her visit went great! Doc said she was perfect {insert happy parents}. She's currently weighing in at a solid 16 pounds, 2 ounces (49th percentile), 27.25" in length (93rd percentile) and a 44 centimeter noggin' (91st percentile). Of course, the shots weren't pleasant, but she didn't cry near as long as before, so that's progress. We officially started real food. We finished our 4th day of green beans today and I'll say... she's not a fan. Hopefully squash will be better tomorrow.  Can't believe we're already reporting on "real food." {sigh}.

We had our annual Halloween party on Friday night. If you know us just a little, you know we love to dress up and we take it very seriously. Until she can start choosing what she would like to dress up as, Mommy and Daddy get to decide. I love coordinating/family costumes - so I was super excited to mark this one off my costume bucket list. I think we nailed it, what do you think?

And lastly, with the sixth month birthday, we graduated to a new nursery at church!! Finally in with the big kids and nursery with a jumper:) Honestly, we told them that she loved to jump a few weeks ago, so they've been putting her where the jumper was - spoiled much?? As a thank you for the sweet ladies who volunteer their time in the nursery, so we can attend service and volunteer OUR time, I thought these would be nice. {insert craft hour}

  1. She is a cutie! And that is nice of you to give gifts to the nursery ladies! It is amazing how fast they grow, isn't it?
