Happy 2nd Birthday, My Darling.
WOWZA... what a rollercoaster of activities we've had this week!!! I'm not even sure where to begin.
Obviously, Thursday was the big day! Birthday festivities started LAST weekend, when we got to see PawPaw. Wednesday we had dinner with our friends, Joe, Jayme and Cameron. (Prayers for Jayme).
Thursday night we took her for birthday queso. They sang to her... she was no okay with that.
Then we got stop and see Gram (visiting from Texas), Uncle Gee and Aunt Liz. Friday, we had her 2-year wellness exam. Then we welcomed Aunt Char.

She got to hang with Daddy on Saturday, while the girls went to the Country Living Fair. Then we had a nice dinner Saturday night.
To break it down.
Wednesday, like I said, was dinner at our old hangout, Corner Pub. She loved cheese beans... hooray!

Cinco de Mayo on Thursday was all fun and games until they brought over the munchkin-sized sombrero and started singing. Not okay, people. Not okay. She slung that hat so fast...

Friday she had her wellness check-up. They said everything looks fantastic. She had her first eye exam. And they said we can take her to the dentist. She's in the 96th percentile for her height - 2'9". But, the poor little tike... she's in the 25th percentile for her weight - 24.6lbs. But, they said to not feel like we need to put weight on her. She looks great, so just keep doing what you're doing. So. we will.
Friday night we laid low and just enjoyed some great company.

On Saturday, she had her last swim lesson, according to the YMCA, she's a "perch." Farmer took her to the carnival at her school to finish off Spring Fling at her school. We won a handmade piece of art that her class made in the silent auction. I can't wait to hang it in her room!!! Pictures next week. OH there was face painting. And she could care less about Rapunzel.
She moved up to a new class at Sunday School this week.... I can't handle it.
We had Pizza Sunday with Grandma. She brought cake pops. They were a hit.

Fun pictures from school! There may or may not have been some interpretive dance.
