When Mommy's Away

What a crazy, crazy week. I was out of town with work from Tuesday to Thursday, so Daddy was flying solo. I can't thank him enough for all he does for that little lady. And boy does she love him. Man. I asked if he got any pictures while I was out of town, he laughed and gave an enthusiastic, "no." He informed me that tending to a Ferg and a toddler was like herding cats. Smh. 

We've had a successful week of toddler bed life. She prefers to get into bed by herself - accompanied with her book and her makeup bag. We woke up Saturday morning and Paco was getting a makeover. 

She's quite the defiant creature. Takes me to my limits, she does. I try to scold her and she laughs at me. Zero effs given, folks. Zero effs. We've yet to find her vice - like, what can we take away that she will actually care about. Thoughts?

While the past few weeks have been a whirlwind, this weekend was low key. We got to visit with Aunt Lisa and cousins. Also had family date night at Rosepepper and Jeni's ice cream for dessert. Noms.



She had a great week in her new class. We had some drop off woes, but we assume that's just the transition - Thursday and Friday she never looked bad {tear}.

Wrapped up the week with the last of the At the Movies series at church. Snacking on popcorn and tearing down walls in her Superman cape. #adorbs.
