Happy Family Time

With camps out this week, we got some Home Ec camp with Sissy in our first few days of the week. We learned to make potholders and a little sewing. 

While Nora was away, we had some fun adventures on our morning walks. This guy right here kept following us. Freaked Ferg out.

Mommy and Daddy took Thursday off of work in an attempt to go on a family canoe trip. As we're about to walk out the door, the company called and said we'd had too much rain and the river was too high. Boo. So, we checked out the Adventure Science Center. 

While Mommy and Daddy went to a birthday party, Chicago fam came to hang out with Nora. Always great, but this time Nora got to hang with her cousin - which she always loves. 

Friday we took a day trip to Chattanooga. We explored the aquarium where Nora got to hang with the penguins (her fav). Lots of photos by Nora below... then we went on a steam train ride at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. 

Saturday, as we were preparing for our evening plans, Nora was working on one of our dishes. I managed to convince her that she was making a YouTube video by recording herself. 

We spent the evening of the 4th with friends from church. I didn't capture many pictures, but we had one tired little chica on our hands.
