4 months and counting
We had our 4-month birthday and wellness check-up on Thursday!! She's looking great. Doctor said if we wanted to start experimenting with rice cereal or something similar, we could, but she didn't need it, so we'll wait a few more weeks before we start worrying with it. As you can see, she weighed in at 13 pounds, 12 ounces (41st percentile) and her length was 26.25 inches (98th percentile). Again, we understand these numbers mean nothing as far as her end height, but we can dream, right? This was her state-of-being when I dropped her at daycare after her check-up and shots... Completely. Worn. Out.
We gave the pool another shot this weekend. MUCH. BETTER. We think if was a combination of her bathing suit being a tad too small and the water temperature. She really wasn't interested in being any further than waist deep, but she was fascinated by the glistening water - like, drooling and all. It was nice for Mom and Dad to be able to enjoy the water, too.

Today was a big day at church. Munchkin spent her first Sunday in LifeKids! She did great, except for the massive blowout she had. We've decided the Spirit must be moving her every Sunday at 9am, because she has one EVERY. SINGLE. SUNDAY!
I've been trying my hand at video... Got her having a blast during bath time. The video says it all.
We made our first trip to the after-hours clinic this week. She'd been so fussy and irritable lately, favoring an ear, etc. We picked her up from daycare on Tuesday and Miss Pat said she thought she might have an ear infection. Took her in and it turns out she just had some upper respiratory gunk. Since then, she's been on a baby VaporRub and saline drops regimen. Not only does she feel better, she's been rocking out 8-9 hour nights - BOOM SHAKA LAKA!
Sunday afternoon fun in the Bumpo. Playing (or trying to eat) her toys. She's mesmerized by her reflection in the mirror.
We have lots of fun things on deck for this week, so next weeks update she be a fun one!
