Growing up baby

Lots to talk about this week!!
It's taken a couple weeks to truly realize the difference the tubes have made. Not that she's ever been an unpleasant baby, but she had a good bit of moody spells pre-tube era. Those have all gone away. She only gets moody when she gets sleepy and it's not even that bad. So. Hooray for tubes! We go this week for a recheck to make sure A) they're still in there and B) all infection is gone.
She had another top tooth break through this week. That makes a total of four teeth for those that are counting.
Because of all the ice and snow, lots of businesses were closed or delayed, so day care was slim this week. It's truly the beauty of an in home daycare situation - she doesn't close when it snows. So Farmer and I can go to work. Luckily for munchkin, she had two days of she and Miss Pat time with no other little ones. Pretty sure neither of them minded. However, we THINK the cold is gone for this year and there are lots of sunny days and walks in our future. She's been out of her carseat when in the stroller for a while, it's just been too cold to take her out. She loves the walks - stays awake the whole time and just takes it all in. This is our view...

On Thursday, she was on the floor playing while Farmer and I were eating... we look down and she was moving - on her all fours. Yep - it's a crawling baby! We looked up again and she was gone... down the hallway! However, she hasn't done it since, so I'm not sure when we'll see it again.
She LOVES baths! I can't wait to get her in the pool this summer!
She thinks Ferg's wagging nub is the most hilarious thing ever - likes, starts shaking and grinning when she sees it.
Since it's been cold we haven't done a lot of munchkin in shopping carts - we would just leave her in her car seat and sit her on top. With the warm weather, we got lots of practice this week of riding sans car seat. Target, Home Depot and Crest. It's taken her a few times to realize that there's TONS to look at. And of course, she gets to stare at everyone!

We've been practicing LOTS with feeding ourselves. Chicken and bananas are our go to, however she gives puffs a thumbs up! She's also been working with sippy cups.

She looks like such a sweet baby. And glad the tubes have helped! I have friends who say the tubes made a world of difference!
