Survival mode.

I've decided that in this parenting thing, there are great weeks, there are good weeks and then there are "let's-just-make-it-out-alive" weeks. The later describes our 68th week of life with this little lady. The temper tantrums are in full effect and they are no joke, folks. No joke. For example, one morning this week we had brushed our teeth after breakfast – let me preface this with pointing out her love for water again. Water is involved whilst brushing our teeth, right? – We had brushed our teeth, rinsed everything off and I put her down so she could go about her way. She walks down the hallway, into the living room, stops, drops, flattens out on the floor and proceeds to scream her brain out. Suffice to say, we've altered the brushing of teeth routine.

Walking is getting better and better. She's no graceful swan, but she gets around. We visited the zoo early Saturday morning, so it wasn't too crowded and she was able to practice in the great wide world.
Bath time is still a rockin' time. And that hair... chick's got great hair!
We had dinner had a friends house this week who had a piano... she was fascinated!
AND... we've been working on our spoon feeding skills. It ain't a tidy task, but she's doing it none the less.
One last story for the week... so we got her the foam armchair, right? You've seen it in pictures (it's a gray and white check). Well she's completely taken ownership of it. I'll say it's quite cozy to lean against... but be warned... if you lean against it she'll be marching over, grabbing your shirt and pulling you off of it. She doesn't want to sit in it, per se... she just doesn't want you on it, in it or around it. #mine.
