The long haul.
Welp. Looks like we're in this for the long haul, eh? Guys, we're all in this together. Doing our best and trying to make it all work. I'm not going to say it was a great week. It was a really HARD week. Work is wearing us down, trying to get Nora through her school lessons without her losing her mind... it was so so hard. But, alas. We made it.
This week in culinary arts, we made homemade brownies.
Q.C. gave it a thumbs up.
When she gets my phone and starts taking selfies.
Thursday for school, her class had the wedding of "Q" and "U." The whole class was supposed to dress up. She was under the impression that SHE was getting married, so she had to put on makeup, curl her hair and wear her fluffiest white dress.
In art class, we made signs for our windows... with people across the globe (via Field Trips by Creative Mornings. She loved it.

She gave herself a makeup job - not bad, huh?
After a really long week, I found some peace... lying on a blanket in our front yard. Thoughts constantly through my head. This whole situation is hard on us adults. But kids... they don't know that this sort of thing isn't normal. That being forced to halt activity. To be with family and without friends. What are they learning? Are they learning the value of relationships? Learning to be creative, because of the time alone with themselves? Learning the ability to shift and adapt? It will be interesting to see how they turn out.
