Serious Baby

Our little serious baby. While she is definitely a happy baby - she is SO serious!! Like, looking deep into your soul serious. It almost makes me uncomfortable when she really locks in on me.

I think I might have mentioned last week her new sense of emotion - pretty sure she definitely IS human. Sometimes when she's looking at us, she'll reach up with her hands and touch you on the cheek or mouth and just look at you, like, at that moment, it's all coming together. Again, the most fascinating thing I've ever witnessed.

We went to Norman over the weekend for a tailgate... she got to see her first college band and take her first official "campus visit":)

Another of her new accomplishments is her ability to sit up. She's not great at it, but she CAN bend over with her chest to the ground, then sit herself back up. However, if she goes to far, she just lays on back or tips over to the side... basically, she has no control when going back. But, we're getting there. So cool.

We're not crawling yet - and honestly she doesn't seem interested. Pretty sure she's a prime candidate for walks-before-she-crawls.

Speaking of, all these days of jumping have done wonders for her leg muscles. She can definitely hold herself up, just not for long. AND, I think she's got a ways before she figures out how to do it. In the meantime, she'll take "Super Baby" time with Daddy...

My goal this week is to get pictures of she and Ferg. They're forming quite the little friendship (i.e. Fergie loves that Nora likes kisses - even though it's the milky mustache Ferg is after). Every time I get the camera up and ready, Ferg walks off. CHALLENGE = ACCEPTED!

Our great little sleeper has fallen from the wagon. She still sleeps GREAT, once she goes to sleep. You'll notice she has what looks like a little lazy eye - yeah, that's the warning flag that she's exhausted, but refuses to sleep. It's so sad. She has exhaustion written all over her face, but she fights it so hard. Poor thing - she's afraid she's going to miss something.

Be ready for some fun pictures in the next few weeks. It's getting cold here and we have some super cute wintery attire for the little lady - yay, DRESS UP TIME!

Until next week - bring on week 29!
