The woes of raising a two year old

If you'd like to donate to our St. Jude walk - it's coming up this Saturday! We'd like to raise $500! http://fundraising.stjude.org/goto/teamfarmer

Oh me. What a challenging week. We're working on potty training, okay. Unfortunately, we don't have the flexibility to take 2-3 days from work and let her run around naked and really focus on it. So, it's a concerted effort from home and school. She's getting there. Some things are connecting, but some things aren't. Like, for instance, at school after there's a twosie - they put it in the toilet and flush it. TWO mornings this week, we've opened the door to a bare-bootied munchkin who had dumped her twosie ON THE FLOOR and was attempting to clean it up with wet wipes. "Oh dear," should be your response. Yeah. Poop on the floor, on her hands, in her hair. Yeah. Go ahead. Think about that.

She actually does sleep. On occasion.

Oh and she's now waking up anywhere between 5am and 6am. Dear all of us.
 With her BFF's.

Our friends from Oklahoma, Tim and Lisa came to visit for a few days. Aunt Lisa taught her how to throw pennies in the fountain. I think we threw in at least $.25

  1. Um, I'd rather not re-live those days of potty training and poop everywhere, thankyouverymuch! But, I'm fairly confident it will get better. Someday :) Also, children who wake up early in the morning are the worst!
