53 weeks strong
One might not think too much can change in a week... seven little days....Whelp, that's not the case at the Farmer household. At Nora's one year wellness check up, there were the standard, "is she_______" questions. A few we had to answer "no" to, but no big deal. Seven days later, we are now answering "yes" to all those questions and some! Ha! On her own time, folks, on her own time.
So, what's new??
• We're walking around the table AND becoming more courageous with not holding on.

• We're officially a sippy cup drinker, y'all.

• She's started pointing at things
• She has entered the phase of only mommy.
• While in the fight for favorites of peek-a-boo versus pat-a-cake... peek-a-boo, or as we call it, "where's Nora?" has taken the lead. We discovered this while folding sheets. She would pull the sheet up above her head, you ask "where's Nora?" and she pulls the sheet down. Repeat.

• Making a call or controlling the television, she's starting to understand. She'll actually push buttons on the remote control then look at the TV.

• She has an intense amount of determination. We call image below, "the tongue of determination." She sticks it out whenever she's really trying hard at something. Getting a phone or remote control off the table, crawling after a toy or trying to get the glasses off my face.

As far as The Farmers go - we've had a really nice week. The weather was great, so we were able to walk most every day - which Nora loves. What she really loves is when we see a dog - she starts this shrill squealing thing, starts flapping her arms and kicking her legs.
She loves hanging upside down and doing flips. Weird, I know... so I'm taking it as my opportunity to work on her tumbling skills.
Saturday morning we walked with the March of Dimes in their yearly March for Babies. We had a nice group of friends who joined us, which is always humbling.

Saturday night Farmer and I celebrated six years of marriage - we're still trying to figure out where that time went.

Congratulations on 6 years! And I love her expression right above the March of Dimes one. BTW, good job on raising money! I'm sorry for the tough times you went through. Sometimes, being a mom is hard.
